Thank you for visiting the Southern Region Web Site. Here you will find, what the Region is and all that the Region has to offer you.

The Southern Region is part of an administrative layer of The Camping and Caravanning Club.

The Region is run by a body called the Council, which is elected by the members.

The Camping and Caravanning Club is split into 13 Regions throughout Britain. Each Region is then split down further into District Associations (DAs). The role of the Region is to support and promote liaisons between DAs. The Club’s special interest sections are also represented at Region level.

For admin and voting reasons you are automatically assigned a DA by your post code when you join the club. The Region and DAs are run by volunteer members for members. You are not restricted to camping with just your DA.

7 DAs and 6 Special Interest sections make up the Southern Region.

Southern Region is bordered by South East, South West and Chiltern Regions.

Please look further on this site to see what Southern Region has to offer you.
